The Aerpro CBA5T1 7.5dBi 477MHz Black Radome UHF Antenna is compatible with all brands of 477MHz UHF CB Radios in Australia and New Zealand. With 7.5dBi gain, this antenna is best suited for long range communication covering wide open spaces such as deserts, plains and low density woodlands as it produces a much longer but flatter UHF signal compared to lower gain antennas. The benefits of the antenna is the long distances it can cover however it is also means it can be susceptible to interference from obstructions in its line of sight. The 1040mm length antenna is encased in a high quality fibreglass tube and secured to a medium duty stainless steel spring. The antenna is ground independent so it will maintain a stable radiation pattern. The elevated feed design helps raise the radiation pattern above the vehicle roof and other obstructions to ensure high performance when mounted on a bullbar. It is fitted with 4.7 metre RG58 coaxial cable which is pre-terminated with an FME connector making it easy to install through the firewall grommet in vehicles.
