The Gamma H.I.D (High Intensity Discharge) lamp is designed for rugged environments such as mining earth moving construction agriculture ports forestry etc. An aluminium alloy housing and internally mounted Gen 5 ballast utilises a xenon gas discharge globe making the lamp resistant to shock and vibration.. . NB: To convert early Gamma lamps to D1 Gen 5 ballast technology use 12V P/No.74167 or 24V P/No.74168
